"Humanity has advanced, when it has advanced, not because it has been sober, responsible, and cautious, but because it has been playful, rebellious, and immature." Tom Robbins

Now I know what it's like for all the Demy Americans who have to stomach a leader who is a buffoon. A smiling, irritating, starched-shirt buffoon.

I read the following in a pro-Harper paper that was trying to make him sound elegant:
Stephen Harper cannot mask his disdain for people who don't speak intellectually.
He retreats, literally, when he fails or does not feel he has done a good job.

Oh, and the mot juste:

He doesn't drink alcohol because he doesn't like the taste.

I like to believe that I can get along with anyone once we sit down for a pint. Not so Mr. Harper, not so.

The italian word for today is a verb: disgustare. It means to disgust. In a sentence, one might say Stephen Harper disgusta il sua cittadinanza, or, Stephen Harper disgusts his citizenship.

Fin.
