So there's another year, one of my busiest ever, in fact. Since this time last year I've quit one job, started another, ended one relationship, started another, changed my hair, diet, and shoe preference, closed the book (haha) on the novel I'd been writing for the last 4 years, and went to 2 music festivals. I start the new year with a promotion, a raise, a new desk, and this ridiculous plan to bring 5 days' worth of lunches to work on Mondays.
If I knew more about tecchy things I'd like to do some kind of statistical gathering of New Years' Resolutions posted on blogs. I would very much like to know if anyone else out there can be support group to my Top 5:
1) Get my health back in order*
2) Learn enough Italian for my trip, upcoming**
3) Smoke less drugs.
4) Get a brazilian.
5) Go out next New Years
Notes:
*Get my health back in order: This is mostly due to the FIBROMYALGIA (if that's indeed what I have). I need to reclaim my life and get back what the pain stole. That includes my fitness.
**enough Italian for my trip: People say I won't need it, but I don't want to spend my trip alone and vomiting because I can't tell the difference between pesce and pesche. It's fish and peaches, respectively.

hiss, hiss, boo, boo
How have I offended thee?
I can probably dig up my old "Learn Italian" cassette from first year, which was pretty unhelpful, although I did enjoy the variety of 'people' who featured on it, clearly performed by the same person.
Good resolutions.
