Where IS this kid?

Beck's going to be induced sometime between today and Wednesday. The other Zaide will be having a triple bypass on May 11, and it's quite the sticky wicket if the new one's a boy and that means a bris in eight days . . .

Beck claims to have found a new respect for my mother as she takes every one of the supposed cures to bring on labour. She eats spicy food. Lots of it. We drove her over some bumps in the car. I decided not to ask if the sex cure works.

Quite the hassle, birth. Although this is the tensest we've all been. Any minute now ... Or as Sarah told me on Saturday, "you get excited like this for the first one and then they just keep happening."
